Amy holds a CIDESCO diploma and was a Beauty Trainer for leading European and Japanese cosmetic companies for more than 6 years. She also successfully conducted more than a hundred beauty classes during those years. Amy started fashion design as a hobby during her school years. Her designing work has won prizes in fashion design contests. She continued to pursue this interest, which led her to this promising career in the field of Image Management.
Prior to her beauty career, Amy was also in the advertising industry as a Mandarin copywriter. It was a career that sharpened her bilingual expertise in both English and Mandarin. With her broadcasting training in Rediffusion, she impressed clients of several advertising agencies and was invited to be the Mandarin interpreter of Beauty Congress in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. She then became a freelance MC for various business functions and wedding events.
Amy had always had that artistic feel in her. Her exceptional talent in drawing and sense of colour coordination have always been her strongest assets. She is now a qualified image consultant and holds the franchise for First Impressions UK, specialising in personal and corporate image management courses.
She was invited to be the Grooming Trainer for Vasantham Program and was featured in the TV program PENN. Her outstanding performance also featured in NTUC Lifestyle magazine.
Her one-to-one customized workshop for Colour My World, Face Talk (Hairstyling, skin care & makeup), Figure & Style, Deportment, Social & Business Etiquette, Dinning Etiquette has won good comment by participants.
Corporate clients include Great Eastern Assurance, Metro, Ministry of Manpower, Slimming Sanctuary, National Heart Center, SAFTI, Bowling Federation, Shell, Mindef, Buzz, SMU, The Tent, Schools, ITE Simei, ITE Clementi, and many other companies.
