MICHELLE VOO

Michelle is an accomplished trainer and speaker. Her skills were honed by her training as a lawyer and a teacher. She has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Law from the National University of Singapore as well as a Diploma (with Distinction) in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Trinity College, London.

Her written and spoken English is of the highest calibre - having been brought up in the United Kingdom, her command of the language is comparable to, if not better than some, native speakers and hence she is an excellent model of speech. She acquired extensive experience in communications and presentations skills in the corporate world as a senior in-house legal counsel for a premier banking institution. She has also done voiceovers for corporate videos and undertaken emceeing assignments.

Her passion now is to share her knowledge through the education industry, equipping local students in many primary and secondary schools as well as tertiary institutions, and foreign students in the Regional English Language Centre (RELC), with not just oral business skills e.g. speech writing and public speaking, but also aural e.g. listening skills, and social skills and etiquette as well.

Michelle has been hailed as a fun, bubbly and engaging educator, and above all, effective, no matter the age or education level of her audience.
